HART'S DROVE, WHITTLESEY

Harts Drove is small user-operated, light controlled crossing about 200 yards west of Whitlesea Station. It is a little limited for viewpoints but a good spot when there is no sun as the approach from the west is round a very sharp. banked curve. Semaphore signals for both directions are visible and trackspeed is quite slow. There is very little road traffic as the crossing only serves a couple of farms and the adjacent sewage works.
